Our PSG member Bee Ling, sharing her experience...
这次的社区服务是南桥中学家长会成员所提议，可以了解社会上一些不幸的人的生活。从而探讨如何帮助他们，发扬“老吾老以及人之老”的精神。
就在今年六月二十六日，十一点半我们到了李亚妹老人院，受到负责人的热烈欢迎，当负责人带领我们走进里面。大家都可看到孤苦无依的老人呆坐在门口或房里，他们寂寞的神情，让我觉得他们多么希望有人陪伴他们，聆听他们诉说往事。过后我们分成俩组与他们聊天。
一组是去女性居住另一组去男性，而我正是男性的那一组，我和妈妈和女儿就开始和他们聊天。我们看到每一个老人床头上都有清楚的写下他们的年龄，几年进来住，语言，单身或否都清清楚楚的列在上面。其中一位70多岁的阿伯很可爱。当我关心的问他几句话后却把我拉出去，其实他的声带有问题没办法好好的发音，说出整句话。我只好用猜测的方式去了解对方的意见。他很开朗，一直是微笑着说他的亲人，他的过去，一方面埋怨着说没有一个儿子来探望他，另一方面却又维护他的孩子说他们是因为工作忙碌而无法来。接下来还有舞蹈表演和歌唱表演，大家都很开心。
这次的社区服务，虽然只有短短三小时，却能带给他们很多关心和笑声。其实跟他们聊天很简单，只要你们会方言，用他们所熟悉的语言交谈他已经很开心了。因为用方言交谈，老人会觉得很亲切。容易把心事向我们倾诉。
在这里头你可以看出女人的骨骼比男人差。因为里头的女性多数坐轮椅。起居都需要人照顾。看到这里我的感触很多。让我想起教育孩子的重要性，以孝心报答父母的养育之恩，如何奉养父母和敬老尊贤的精神。还有注意健康。
同时也多多关心社会上不幸的人，让爱充满每个人的心扉，使社会充满温馨。
说到这，但愿他们身体健康，生活更精彩。
